Marvel went pretty big in South Korea to build hype for its upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. On October 31, 2026, Seoul hosted a massive Marvel-themed drone light show above the Han River, featuring 2,000 synchronized drones.
The drones created giant illuminated formations of Marvel superheroes, including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and Doctor Strange, synchronized with music.
It was the largest drone deployment in Seoul’s Han River light show series and its final performance of 2026.
The event was a collaboration between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Walt Disney Company Korea, bringing Marvel’s cinematic universe into a public entertainment experience.
