St. Andrews FC Malta has unveiled its senior squad for the 2026/27 season alongside a three-season development plan focused on strengthening the club on and off the pitch.
The announcement was made during the club’s official Team Launch at Palm Suites at InterContinental Hotel Malta, attended by players, coaching staff, sponsors, partners and members of the press.
Club President Captain Nigel James Dunkerley described the previous three seasons as a “roller coaster”, with a new committee now focused on long-term player development, strengthening the club’s structure and creating clearer pathways from the Luxol Football Academy to the senior team.

Head Coach Marko Rajic will lead a 23-player squad with an average age of 20.4, combining academy graduates, returning players, new signings and experienced local and foreign talent.
The club also outlined plans to invest further in coaching, medical and performance support, infrastructure and commercial partnerships, while strengthening its connection with the Luxol community.
A key long-term ambition is to return St. Andrews FC’s Challenge League home matches to Luxol Stadium. The club confirmed that discussions with the Malta Football Association are currently underway.
