Luis Rubiales has resigned from his position as President of the Spanish Football Federation⚽

Following the criticism Rubiales received after kissing female player, Jenni Hermoso, at the World Cup final, he has resigned from his post as president.
Rubiales announced his resignation on his Instagram, saying “Después de mucho tiempo y muchos rumores. Adiós gente de España”, were he said goodbye to the people of Spain.

He has also resigned as vice president of UEFA’s executive committee.
