Luxol St. Andrews FC has officially unveiled its new senior coaching setup, with Marko Rajic appointed as Head Senior Coach and Milan Todorović joining as Assistant Coach as the club pushes forward with its long-term vision focused on growth, ambition, and youth development ⚽🔥
Rajic arrives with 23 years of coaching experience and holds a UEFA ‘A’ Elite coaching licence. Over the last nine years, he has been a key figure within the Luxol St. Andrews Academy as Technical Coordinator and U15 Head Coach, overseeing the club’s development structure from U15 to U21 level.
Under his leadership, Luxol’s youth sides secured multiple honours, including the U15 Section A League and Knock-Out double during the 2023/24 season 🏆
Before joining Luxol, Rajic also coached at Hamrun Spartans’ School of Excellence and worked in Serbia with Sloga FC and Jagodina FC, where he helped develop Serbian international goalkeeper Predrag Rajković 🇷🇸
Joining him on the senior team bench is fellow Serbian coach Milan Todorović, who brings more than 14 years of coaching experience across all age groups from youth to senior football. During his career in Serbia, he claimed over 10 trophies and guided both Sloboda (Lipe) and Radnički (Kovin) to higher competitive divisions.
Since arriving at Luxol in 2023, Coach Milan has become an important figure within the academy setup, working with the U15 and U17 sides before taking charge of the U19 team. He also played a major role in guiding the U15 squad to the Maltese U15 Championship and National Cup double in 2023/24, while winning the Youth Cup in the 2024/25 season 💪
“I am honoured to continue my Luxol St. Andrews FC journey at such an exciting moment for the club,” said Coach Rajic. “The ambition here is clear.”
Coach Milan added: “I am excited to start this new chapter at a club where I’ve become very close to the youths and watched them gradually grow into the senior team.”
Club officials Capt. Nigel James Dunkerley and chairman Jason Falzon described the appointments as a reflection of the club’s identity, ambition, and belief in young players, with continued investment in academy development and clearer pathways into senior football.
Both coaches will begin preparations immediately as Luxol St. Andrews FC looks ahead to the upcoming season and the next chapter in the club’s journey.
