During her performance at New York’s Pier 17, Bebe Rexha was hit in the head by a cell phone, resulting in her needing stitches.

Following a preliminary investigation, the New York City police found that a 27-year-old man purposely threw the phone at the 33-year-old singer. A video of the incident was recorded and shared on social media by a concert attendee. The incident happened towards the end of Rexha’s show, forcing an unexpected end to the concert.
