The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) and the Malta Pyrotechnics Association (MPA) have officially joined forces to develop vocational training focused on pyrotechnics, traditional Maltese festas, and industry safety standards.
The collaboration will introduce an Advanced Diploma in Pyrotechnics, combining academic learning with practical industry experience to support Malta’s cultural heritage and tourism sector. Officials described the initiative as an important step towards preserving and strengthening one of the country’s most unique traditions for future generations
