In Italy’s Abruzzo region, a dream for many comes true: a fountain offering an endless flow of wine, accessible to both locals and visitors at no charge, around the clock.
This unique winery, located on a path frequented by pilgrims, isn’t the pioneer in wine fountains but stands out for its uninterrupted wine supply.

Given its popularity, it’s no surprise that the fountain often sees long queues, with the weekends requiring prior booking to manage the influx of wine aficionados.
The innovative idea was envisioned and realized by Nicola D’Auria, the proprietor of Dora Sarchese vineyard, in collaboration with architect Rocco Valentini, blending tradition with a touch of modern marvel.
