San Ġorġ Preca Secondary to Host Sports Marathon in Aid of Dar Merħba Bik

San Ġorġ Preca Liċeo, Ħamrun, will once again host a sports marathon on Sunday 18th May, from 8:30am to 7:00pm, with all proceeds going to Dar Merħba Bik—an organisation supporting victims of domestic violence.

The event will kick off with Mass at 8:30am, followed by an English breakfast, with all funds raised going directly to the cause. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy various sports (football, volleyball, bocce), a bazaar, thrift shop, plant stalls, and hair & beauty services (8:30am–4:00pm, by appointment at 79545151 or via the school Facebook page).

Additional attractions include a car exhibition by the American Auto Club Malta and vintage enthusiasts, art exhibitions, and live performances from artists like Kapitlu Tlettax, Justine Shorfid, and DJ Armani. Hosting duties will be handled by Peppi Azzopardi, Ivan Gaffiero, and Karl Mifsud.

A dedicated kids’ area with a bouncy castle, train, and face painting will also be available, making it a day for the whole family.
