The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) and KM Malta Airlines have partnered to introduce new cabin crew training programmes, including a diploma, aimed at strengthening aviation education and workforce development in Malta ✈️

The agreement will give ITS students access to hands-on training through KM Malta’s licensed Cabin Crew Training Organisation, with courses delivered by certified instructors in a real aviation environment.
The collaboration will roll out in three phases: immediate delivery of existing short courses, accreditation within the Malta and European Qualifications Frameworks, and the launch of a Diploma in Aviation Hospitality Services in the 2027–2028 academic year.

The initiative is designed to align academic standards with industry training, preparing students for careers in aviation and hospitality while reinforcing Malta’s position as an education and aviation hub.
