The bill, introduced by Fabio Rampelli, a member of the lower chamber of deputies and supported by the prime minister, aims to combat “Anglomania” and preserve the Italian language. The proposed legislation requires all public officials to have a strong command of Italian in both written and oral communication and prohibits the use of English in official documentation, including job titles and acronyms.
