AX ODYCY Hotel Wins Four Awards for Malta at the European Property Awards

The newly redeveloped AX ODYCY Hotel in Qawra, Malta, has achieved notable success at the European Property Awards, winning four awards for Leisure Development, Commercial Redevelopment, Masterplan, and Hotel Architecture. This recognition reinforces AX ODYCY as a leader in Malta’s hospitality and development sectors.

A modern 4-star destination, AX ODYCY offers diverse dining, leisure, and family-friendly facilities, with a design inspired by the energy of airports and cruise liners. Transformed from the former Suncrest Hotel, it now features unique spaces, such as the Minoa Mediterranean Fusion restaurant, Medusa Sky Bar, and family-friendly Trattoria Riccardo, catering to a variety of guest experiences.

Directors Claire Zammit Xuereb and Denise Xuereb led the hotel’s concept and development, culminating in this award-winning success. At the London ceremony on October 17, 2024, Denise Xuereb accepted the awards, noting that they honor the entire team’s commitment to creating an innovative hospitality experience.

As AX ODYCY advances through its first year and a half since reopening, it has also been shortlisted for the Europe-level awards, with a chance to compete globally in the International Property Awards.
