On 12th and 13th October, Heritage Malta is offering a unique chance to explore three incredible sites in Birgu: the Malta Maritime Museum, Inquisitor’s Palace, and Fort St. Angelo, with discounted rates, optional guided tours, and extended hours!
In the spirit of the much-loved BirguFest (which couldn’t happen this year), this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the rich history and culture of this stunning city.
Opening hours:
• Saturday 12th: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM (with the magical ambiance of candles and torches!)
• Sunday 13th: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Four amazing exhibitions will be running across the sites, including:
- An Island at the Crossroads at the Maritime Museum
- Fare Convito – The Archaeology of Banqueting in Hospitaller Malta at the Inquisitor’s Palace
- Betrayal and Vengeance – The Slaves’ Conspiracy of 1749
- Threads of Faith – Liturgical Vestments of the Order of St John

- General admission: €3 for all three sites (free for Heritage Malta Senior and Student Passport holders and members)
