Mel Gibson was spotted in Malta yesterday, touring Mdina and Valletta, as part of his visit to explore potential filming locations. He visited iconic sites such as St John’s Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster’s Palace, and the streets of Valletta.

During his visit, Gibson also met with Prime Minister Robert Abela, marking a significant step in strengthening Malta’s ties with Hollywood and promoting the island as a prime filming destination.
Commenting on the occasion, Grech stated, “This is the result of this year’s Mediterrane Film Festival. We will remain focused to ensure that our country’s historical story is brought to life on the big screen.”
