Videos doing the rounds online are capturing the sight of a sandstorm enveloping the Suez Canal, prompting authorities to shut down two ports.

Certain regions of Egypt have experienced massive amounts of dust and sand swirling in the air. Tragically, during the sandstorm’s rampage across Cairo, the capital city, a billboard collapsed, leading to the death of one person and injuries sustained by five others on Thursday.
