RunGozo is the oldest organized running event in Malta, with its first race held in 1977. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the leading and most innovative events on the island, attracting around 1,400 athletes from over 50 countries in recent editions. In 2019, it became the first group in Malta to hold a running EXPO, and in 2020 and 2021, it also led the way by hosting Malta’s first virtual running event during the COVID-19 pandemic.
