Trouble has found its way to Mitchel Musso, the former Hannah Montana star.

The 32-year-old actor, known for his role alongside Miley Cyrus in the popular Disney series, was taken into custody in Texas over the weekend.

The one-time child actor, hailing from Rockwell, was apprehended on allegations of public intoxication and theft, as per information from TMZ. Law enforcement responded to a local motel, where the actor, now recognized for his role in The Rise, was said to be displaying ‘belligerent’ behavior and was accused of purloining a bag of chips from a store.

After posting a bail amount of $1,000, Musso has been released from custody. This incident marks his first legal entanglement in more than ten years.

Musso’s previous brush with the law occurred in 2011 when he was arrested for driving under the influence in Burbank. By entering a ‘no contest’ plea, the Bachelor Lions actor managed to evade a half-year jail term. Instead, he received a three-year informal probation sentence, along with the obligation to enroll in alcohol education classes and settle a monetary fine.
