One of Sliema’s most well-known cats has been brutally attacked and is now in search of a permanent home to retire in.

 

 

Cats of Independence Gardens, an online page, shared photos of the injured ginger cat, stating that he was attacked by a chow chow at around 7:35 am yesterday, causing wounds all over his body and bending his legs.

 

 

The cat feeders who discovered him crying in pain stayed with him to provide comfort before taking him to the veterinarian to treat his injuries. Although Bobby is a beloved figure in Sliema, the group believes that the best course of action is to find him a secure and caring home to recover and relax.

 

 

According to the post, “Bobby brought a lot of joy and happiness to a lot of people, and he deserves the very best. We will miss him terribly, but we must do what is best for him.” Prominent cat feeders, as well as the Sliema Local Council, have expressed their support for Bobby.
