Being a couch potato may increase the health of your relationship!
According to a recent study, engaging in unhealthy behaviors with a romantic partner enhances your relationship.

The study, which was published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, focused on couples who smoked, lounged, and ate junk food. Researchers examined journal entries to see how participants reported their daily events, behaviors, and social interactions.

They discovered that those who shared unhealthy behaviors with their partner, such as smoking and sedentary activity, had higher levels of intimacy and relationship satisfaction on a daily basis.
The experts pointed out that, while these habits are widely known to be harmful to human health, the experts found that partaking in shared problematic behaviors had a favorable influence on relationships in the short term.
