Jamie Cardona Announces New Comedy Solo-Play

Renowned Maltese actor Jamie Cardona has taken to social media to announce his latest venture – a solo-play that promises to deliver laughter and introspection in equal measure. Known for his compelling performances and charismatic presence on stage, Cardona is set to embark on a new journey, this time, showcasing his versatility and creativity in a solo performance titled, “Mid-Djarju Ta’ Student Fi Skola Tal-Knisja”

Set against the backdrop of his adolescent years in a church school, Cardona’s play is a comedic exploration of the trials and tribulations of teenage life. Through the lens of his own diary entries, audiences will be treated to a humorous and candid journey through Cardona’s formative years. The actor will not only portray himself but also a range of characters who played pivotal roles during this period of his life.

The play delves into universal themes of self-discovery, faith, morality, and the ever-complex world of teenage romance. Cardona’s character grapples with existential questions about God’s existence, the delineation of right from wrong, the art of attracting attention from the opposite sex, and, with a touch of humor, concerns about his physical development.
