To protect Comino’s Blue Lagoon, a free online booking system is being introduced by the Malta Tourism Authority 🏝
From May 1st, anyone arriving by private or commercial vessel must pre-book a time slot at bluelagooncomino.mt to access the area. Visitors will receive a QR code and wristband on arrival.
🔹 Time slots:
8AM–1PM | 1:30PM–5:30PM | 6PM–10PM
Access is limited to 4,000 people at a time, down from 12,000 seen in previous summers and unauthorized entry will lead to fines.
The system is part of a wider project to improve sustainability, sanitation, and crowd control at Comino.
