Netflix revealed today that its popular thriller series “You,” featuring Penn Badgley as the notorious serial killer Joe Goldberg, will return for a fifth and final season.

The upcoming season will see a shift in leadership, with executive producers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo taking over from Sera Gamble, who created the series alongside Greg Berlanti and served as showrunner for the first four seasons.

Along with the announcement, Netflix hinted at the possibility of Joe’s ultimate comeuppance, posing the question: “Will Joe Goldberg finally face judgment day?”

Netflix has not yet disclosed information about the start of production for Season 5. However, it is likely that the show will once again take place in Joe’s residence.
