Shivdayal Sharma, 82, tragically died last week after a fast train struck a herd of cows, sending one of them flying 100 feet before pieces of it fell on him 30 meters away.

According to reports, another person who was nearby as the senior relieved himself, narrowly escaped being struck by the projectile animal as well.

The strange incident occurred in Alwar, Rajasthan, India, where cows had strayed onto neighboring railroad tracks in a region where trains can go at up to 100 mph.

Many people have called for improved safety measures along the route in response to the catastrophe.
