In a recent survey carried out by Highland Titles, researchers asked 1,000 Americans to share their opinions on which accents they find attractive and not attractive.

Interestingly, the accent that received the least favourable rating was none other than the New York accent🗽

Taking the top spots for the least attractive accents were all American varieties. Boston accent took second place, closely followed by the American Midwestern accent in third.

Canadian accent found itself in fourth place as one of the less attractive accents, followed closely by the American Southern accent.

The Australian accent was voted as the most attractive, followed by the Scottish, London, and Irish accents.
