Helen Van Winkle, better known on Instagram as Baddie Winkle, lived a rather ordinary life in Waco, Kentucky, before becoming famous.

 

Baddiewinkle described how she came up with her account name and said it was really simple.

 

“I’m a bad bi**h; always been a rebel. So we decided ‘bad’ — ‘baddie.’ And then my last name was van Winkle, so we put the Winkle on.”

 

 

With millions of followers on Instagram, the badass grandma has even hung out with Khloé Kardashian and Miley Cyrus, starred in a Fergie music video, attended the Grammys red carpet with a pink feathered robe and rocked her iconic bedazzled nude bodysuit for the MTV Video Music Awards.
