Maltese Man Found Guilty Of Holding Courier At Knifepoint

 

A Maltese man and his accomplice have been found guilty of intimidating and robbing multiple food couriers at knifepoint in separate incidents that occurred on three different dates in Bormla, Haż-Żabbar, and San Ġwann in April 2020.

 

 

The two individuals, Kersten Camilleri and Simon Camilleri, received a combined sentence of seven years and five months in prison for their crimes.

 

Among the incidents was one where they threatened to kill a delivery courier after receiving the wrong pasta order.

The courier recounted how he was held at knifepoint and threatened with death if he made a sound.

 

Kersten Camilleri was sentenced to four years and five months in prison, while Simon Camilleri was sentenced to three years in prison by Magistrate Stafrace Zammit.
