Following months of auditions, solos, goodbyes, and duets, America chose its Idol on Sunday night.

 

 

During the ABC special, the three finalists – Iam Tongi, Megan Danielle, and Colin Stough – got one last chance to wow the audience with solo and duet performances with the stars.

 

 

 

Tongi, a high school student from Kahuku, Hawaii, was named the winner.
