Free Period Products To Be Given Out In Local Schools

According to the Maltese parliamentary secretary for reforms and equality Rebecca Buttigieg, a pilot initiative to give free menstruation products in schools will commence during next school year.

 

 

Buttigieg stated during a press conference on menstruation hygiene that these products will be supplied to girls and women who are still in school. 

 
Research is currently being conducted to determine the best way to implement the system.
