The Chief of the EU Commission’s Digital Department designates Malta as the Mediterranean’s digital transformation gem 👏

The first-ever TechXpo Malta proved to be a resounding triumph, drawing in numerous locals who flocked to the event, as doors swung open to the general public for free last week.

Visitors were treated to interactive exhibits, gaining insight into the cutting-edge technology currently employed in our country. Educational institutions proudly displayed the training opportunities within the digital sector, while numerous companies seized the moment to elucidate the job prospects offered by Malta’s thriving technology industry.

TechXpo Malta played host to over 3000 delegates and 70 local companies deeply entrenched in our local industry. The event fostered networking among professionals, entrepreneurs, companies, and startups within the technological and digital realm.

At the forefront of discussions were emerging technology and artificial intelligence, reflecting the palpable enthusiasm for knowledge acquisition and, above all, investment to further propel our country’s economy.

During his visit, the Director General of DG Connect, Roberto Viola, within the European Commission lauded Malta as the Mediterranean jewel for digital transformation.

This remarkable event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry for the Economy, European Funds, and Lands.
