While browsing Instagram, Trish Bauer came across a dog rescue group that had posted a video of a German shepherd along with the words, “I’m dying tomorrow in this cold lonely room.”
Bauer claimed that right away, she felt a sense of attachment to the dog that she had never felt before.
So she adopted him.

The elderly dog was too ill to undergo surgery for a cancerous tumour in his neck.
He underwent surgery after being given 60 days to improve his health and was declared cancer-free one month later.
