This spectacular sight was spotted in China and has recently gone viral after a video of it was taken and posted on TikTok just a few days ago.

The natural phenomenon is called a ‘pileus iridescent cloud’ caused by dense air rising, surrounding a cloud and condensing, and light refracting from crystals that give it colour.
