During ongoing construction works in the locality, the Mosta Local Council recently uncovered a forgotten war shelter

The shelter had been concealed beneath a rainwater grid on Triq il-Kostituzzjoni, next to Ta’ Bormla shop, and had been collecting rainwater for years.
According to the council, a rainwater channel had been constructed some time ago to direct water from the street level towards the shelter.
Mosta already has a significant number of shelters, with some located under the famous Rotunda church and accessible to the public.
