UK & Ireland To Host Euro 2028 Tournament

It’s coming home…Euro 2028 will be held in the UK and Ireland.

Approval for the joint UK and Ireland bid to host Euro 2028 appears imminent, with Wembley expected to be the venue for the final match. England’s manager, Gareth Southgate, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, describing it as a “fantastic prospect” for the participating nations. UEFA is scheduled to announce the host nations for the next two European Championships on October 10. Today, the formal endorsement of the UK and Ireland’s Euro 2028 bid is on the horizon.

The UEFA executive committee is poised to give the green light to this unopposed bid, as Turkey withdrew its candidacy last week to focus on a joint bid with Italy for Euro 2032. The tournament is slated for June and July in 2028, marking seven years since England and Scotland both hosted matches during the rescheduled event, which spanned across Europe.
