The Clock Moves Forward This Sunday

For those who relish their Sunday morning lie-ins, here’s some unfortunate news: the Department of Information has announced that wintertime in Malta will conclude at 2am on Sunday, March 26th, which means clocks will be set forward by one hour.

This is done to ensure that more daylight is available during the warmer months, with the aim of pushing back the onset of darkness.

This practice, known as daylight-saving time, is typically observed from the last Sunday of March until the last Sunday of October.
