A recently launched feature on Google Flights offers travelers the assurance that they are booking their flight at the lowest possible price.

This initiative is part of the new travel features that Google announced on Monday.

The “price guarantee badge” signifies that the price displayed is the best available and is unlikely to decrease before departure.

Google has introduced the badge as a pilot program in the US.

In a blog post, Richard Holden, VP of Travel Products, explained that the badge “means we’re confident that the price you see today won’t get any lower before takeoff.”
