Malta’s Hiking Trails Ranked 2nd Best In Europe

Outdoor adventure brand Cotswold Outdoor has crowned Malta as Europe’s third-best hiking haven in their “Europe’s Top Alternative Living Spots” study. To rank these hiking hotspots, Cotswold examined factors like the number of hiking trails per square kilometer, the presence of UNESCO-protected sites, and the percentage of forested areas, among other criteria.
 
“Malta’s trails offer a glimpse into the island’s rich culture and stunning natural beauty, making it a favoured destination for those who love to explore on foot.”
 

Popular trails include the breathtaking Dingli Cliffs and Fawwara, Għar Lapsi, Victoria Lines,Dwejra, and many more.
