Johnny Depp has reached a decision to conclude his defamation case against Amber Heard.

In an announcement made on Monday, Depp’s legal representatives, Benjamin Chew and Camille Vazquez, confirmed that the $1 million settlement payment made by Heard would be donated to multiple charitable organizations.

“Our priority has always been to shed light on the truth, and we are pleased to officially put an end to this painful chapter for Mr. Depp,” stated Chew and Vazquez. They further emphasized that the jury’s unanimous decision and the favorable judgment in Depp’s favor against Heard remained unaffected.

By pledging to donate the $1 million to charities, Depp aims to underscore Heard’s acknowledgment of the legal system’s thorough pursuit of justice.
