Both will be executive producing this film, alongside producers Fahmin, Kevin Turen, and Harrison Kreiss.
This untitled production will be The Weeknd’s acting debut for a feature film.
The rapper has already made a short acting appearance, featured on the crime thriller Uncut Gems.
He has allegedly been working on this project on his own for some months before enlisting the help of director Trey Edward Shults and co-writer Reza Fahim.
Currently rumors are going around that the film will be distributed by A24.
