The rebooted app, now called diVine, just dropped with backing from former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and it’s hitting everyone right in the nostalgia.
diVine comes loaded with 100,000+ classic Vine clips pulled from the original archive, so people can relive all the legendary 6-second chaos. You can also post fresh 6-second vids, keeping that OG energy alive.
The wildest part? diVine is going strictly no-AI. The platform will block anything that looks AI-generated to keep things raw, unfiltered, and very 2013-core.
It’s all running on the Nostr protocol, the decentralized network Dorsey’s been hyping, giving creators more control and transparency. Early signups are already popping off as people rush to see which iconic Vines got revived.
