A recent study has concluded some alarming statistics.

According to the World Obesity Federation’s latest report, over 50% of the world’s population is expected to be overweight or obese by the year 2035 unless efforts to prevent, treat, and support individuals improve.

The 2023 World Obesity Atlas report projects that if current trends persist, 51% of the world’s population will be affected by obesity and overweight within the next 12 years.

Additionally, the report suggests that childhood obesity rates could more than double from 2020 levels.
