A 62-year-old woman defended her choice to try for an eighth child with her boyfriend, who is over 40 years younger than she is.
Cheryl McGregor, 62, and Quran McCain, 25, a popular couple on TikTok, announced earlier in the year that they were going to use a surrogate to have a child.

McGregor – who is already a mother to seven children and a grandmother to 17 – and McCain have experienced criticism online for their 37-year-age gap relationship, as well as their plans to spend £120,000 ($144,453) if needed, in order to conceive a kid together.

The couple has persisted in speaking out and defending their desire to have children, with McGregor insisting that her age won’t affect her capacity to be a good mother.
When asked about the public response to their plans to become parents, McGregor responded: “I guess just because of my age, I can’t take care of a baby? What? I’ve got more energy than half of these kids that are taking care of babies now. And I don’t see it as a problem.”

“No, I cannot have a baby myself, but we have done the surrogate thing, where we’ve already had three surrogates and right now, we’re looking for another one. And also maybe adoption.”
