A shopping centre in China has introduced “husband storage” pods where wives can temporarily leave their partners while they shop.

The Global Harbour mall in Shanghai has set up several transparent pods specifically designed for husbands who aren’t thrilled to be accompanying their wives during shopping trips.

Each pod is equipped with a chair, a monitor, a computer, and a gamepad, allowing men to sit back and enjoy playing retro games from the 1990s.

Feedback from a few men who tested the pods was generally positive. However, one individual, Mr Wu, highlighted the need for improvement. He mentioned that the pods lack proper ventilation and air conditioning.
