A three-year-old little girl is currently fighting for her life after an unfortunate incident yesterday afternoon. She fell from a boat into the sea, not far from the popular Ramla l-Ħamra beach in Gozo.

The incident took place at approximately 2 pm yesterday, prompting a swift response from local authorities. The police and a dedicated medical team from Gozo General Hospital rushed to the scene, providing urgent care to the young girl. She was then transported to the hospital for immediate treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, the girl’s condition was assessed promptly, and it was determined to be critical. Given the seriousness of the situation, it has been decided to transfer her to Mater Dei Hospital, with the transfer expected to be conducted by helicopter.
