According to a scientific survey conducted as part of the national conference State of the Nation, findings reveal that 66.6% of the Maltese population expresses contentment with their current life.
Additionally, 70.4% of respondents believe they have achieved success.
Nearly 4 out of 5 participants state that their living standards are comparable to the average, and they observe a noticeable impact of inflation from year to year. A growing number of people are embracing a day-by-day approach to life, with fewer individuals actively planning for the future.
Apart from this, younger individuals and those with higher incomes tend to exhibit a lesser inclination towards long-term planning. Furthermore, the study highlights that when faced with significant decisions, people primarily turn to their families for guidance.
