Amy Markham is another young Maltese woman, making quite a name for herself in the tech industry abroad. Following last year’s success by Simran Mohnani, Amy has landed herself a job with one of Europe’s, if not one of the world’s biggest tech giants, Siemens.
Amy was a St Aloysius College student, before packing up and moving to the University of Glasgow, studying Aeronautical Engineering, where she also had the opportunity to work with Rolls Royce Aerospace, before the big break came, as she was doing her final project, as she described on Social Media.
“My final year project at The University of Glasgow working on ship hydrodynamics has given me the opportunity to land a job at Siemens working on CFD visualisation whilst finishing off my degree. Thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout the past 4 months, excited for what else 2021 has to offer,” Amy wrote.
All of us at Bay, would like to wish Amy all the very best as she starts this new chapter in her life. We are pretty sure that we will be hearing this name in the near future!
