Matthew Magro was supposed to participate in the European Youth Championships, before COVID-19 struck and cancelled the promising young bowler’s plans. That did not however, stop him from playing the prefect game and scoring a record performance at the Eden Superbowl earlier today.
He teamed up with Sue Abela, and kicked off the opening day of the Cisk Lager Doubles League with a bang, by hitting a perfect 300 game.
This was the first time that Matthew had scored a perfect game and set a new national youth record over three games.
Matthew was supposed to take part in the continental championship for a final time this year, but was not able to since the organisers announced that this year’s championship, which was originally planned for April, will be held next year.
Well done Matthew!!
