The Covid-19 situation has taken its toll on all of us in some way or another.
Studies show that as time passes, more people in Malta are becoming depressed and lethargic. Younger generations, ones with lots of plans for the future, plans that are suddenly disrupted, are experiencing more loneliness and depression.
Middle-aged groups are full of worry, with concern about loved ones, financial resources and their own health.
And parents, well… parents are currently juggling between three full-time jobs … working, parenting and teaching.
Coming to grips with the way your life is changing and how to handle the uncertainty of the future can prove to be stressful to say the least. There is nothing wrong with seeking help to digest how this pandemic may be affecting you.
On average, one in four persons struggle with mental health issues at some point in their lives. Taking care of our mental health is perhaps one of the most crucial parts of getting through this pandemic alive and kicking.
Richmond Foundation offers support, therapy and training to both the general public and companies that have their employees’ mental well-being close to their heart.
They offer therapy sessions free of charge to those who are unable to afford them. But to continue offering such services, Richmond requires your help.
People and companies can provide monetary help to Richmond Foundation through the Gift of Therapy. The donations allow Richmond Foundation to provide free therapy to those who need it but cannot pay for it. Smaller donations can be made via SMS. Larger contributions by companies can also be made via Bank transfer or cheques.
Your donation can help Richmond Foundation continue to work as hard as possible, to ensure our nation remains mentally healthy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and after it.
Tomorrow, 28th April, Richmond Foundation will be holding a fund-raiser, posting updates every two hours, on their Facebook and Instagram.
