The past couple of days have been trying times for everyone, and everyone seems to be preparing for the possibility of a lockdown. Spending weeks at home, whether you’re with family or all alone, is bound to have its effects on our mental health
Fidem Charity Foundation has just launched a free community helpline for mental wellbeing support following the outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis in Malta.
The new line, named ‘Hear to Help,’ is available for “anyone experiencing anxiety or stress as a result of the impact of COVID-19 on their everyday lives”.
If you need to talk, or feel like you need to reach out, drop them a call on +356 9932 0977. Lines are open from 9m to 7pm from Monday to Saturday.
Those behind the foundation will help with any concerns you may have and may even refer you their partner psychologists. They will also offer further support via phone or Skype if required.
Fidem Charity Foundation provides support, assistance and empowerment to vulnerable groups, focusing on children and women, through education, art and culture.
