World-Renowned Tenor Andrea Bocelli Reveals Why He Chose Malta For His Musical Project

This year, in collaboration with the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation, the Malta Tourism Authority, and the MTA, Andrea Bocelli chose some of the most striking views in Malta to form part of his latest musical project, and Bocelli has now revealed why…

Bocelli will be hosting a special New Year’s Eve concert, BELIEVE, that will be making its first debut live, solely in Malta!

Bocelli also shared that he chose Malta because he believes ‘Malta represents the centre of Christianity’. He also revealed that ‘I will sing 8 songs here in Malta because 8 is an extremely significant number here’ – which, as any fellow local would know, Bocelli is referring to none other than the eight-pointed Maltese cross!

Earlier this year, Minister Farrugia Portelli, alongside the Malta Tourism Authority, presented Bocelli with the award, ‘Distinguished Friend of Malta’, for his impeccable contributions towards promoting the Maltese Islands as an ideal holiday destination.

Make sure to tune in to Bocelli’s New Year’s Eve special, BELIEVE, which will air live tomorrow at 9 pm on TVM!
