Malta has been implementing a number of different measures throughout the past few weeks in an attempt to flatten the Covid-19 curve and control the situation as much as humanely possible. And it seems like Malta’s efforts are not going unnoticed, as WHO has singled out Malta as a role model in the fight against Corona.
Regional Director of WHO, Hans Kluge tweeted:
#COVID-19 Congratulations deputy prime minister Fearne for the #publichealth measures! #Malta is on the right track and an example to follow #UnitedActionforBetterHealth @WHO_Europe pic.twitter.com/P6kSNnILUN

Prime minister Robert Abela also tweeted the good news over the weekend:
Dedication of #healthcare workers has led @WHO to single out Malta 🇲🇹 as role model for other countries in fight against #Covid-19. #Proud of our world class medical profession. – RA@chrisfearne @CGauci1

WHO explains how Malta is showing the way in how efforts against the spread of Covid-19 should be conducted.
WHO also shares appreciation towards the Maltese public for the way in which they are co-operating with directives.
Well done to all the health professionals who are risking their lives to keep us safe every day, let’s all do our part and stay at home, if we can.
