When do Gozo ferries run over Christmas and New Year?

Gozo Channel has revealed its Christmas and New Year timetable, with families across the Maltese Islands making festive travel plans ahead of the holiday season.

Of course, if you’re keen on heading across the sea you may have to contend with reduced services on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Here’s when the Gozo ferries are due to run over the holiday season, this year:

Christmas Eve

Ferries are set to run as normal.

Christmas Day

No ferries will operate between 12pm and 3pm.

The 12pm, 12.45pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm trips from Mgarr to Cirkewwa will be cancelled.

The 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm and 3pm trips from Cirkewwa will not run.

 

New Year’s Eve

As with Christmas Eve, services will again run as normal.

New Year’s Day

No ferries will run between 12pm and 3pm.

The 12pm, 12.45pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm trips from Mgarr to Cirkewwa will be cancelled.

The 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm and 3pm trips from Cirkewwa will not operate.
